Bahrain Air - Flight Schedule and Destinations

Bahrain Air is the second flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its main base is Bahrain International Airport. The low-cost airline currently flies to 16 destinations in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. The airline plans to increase its destinations to 23 cities by 2009 and up to 25 cities by 2010.

Bahrain Air started operations on 1 February 2008. The airline uses a modern Airbus A320 fleet, with 12 seats in business and 150 in economy.

Managing director Ibrahim Al Hamer said the plan was to increase the number of destinations to 25 in the next three years.

Gulf Air is the main flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Headquartered in Muharraq, the airline operates scheduled services to 45 destinations in 28 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe. Its main base is Bahrain International Airport.

The company's logo features a golden falcon. Gulf Air's most popular destinations include London, Paris, Dubai and Mumbai.

The airline is not part of an airline alliance but is part of the oneworld global explorer fare. It has extensive codeshare services with other airlines and special partnerships with Jet Airways and Oman Air's Frequent Flyer Programs.
