American Connection Airlines

AmericanConnection is a brand name used by Chautauqua Airlines in the operation of passenger air service as a regional affiliate of American Airlines at its St Louis hub. AMR Corporation, parent company of American Airlines, also uses affiliated companies (corporations under common ownership) operating under the American Eagle brand to provide regional service to its other hubs in addition to the AmericanConnection service operated by Chautauqua Airlines.

By Summer 2010 American will move all existing American Connection operations to Chicago-O'Hare as part of its restructuring plan, eliminating service by American Connection at Lambert-St. Louis.

AmericanConnection operates over 180 flights a day to 23 destinations. AmericanConnection operates as a member of the Oneworld airline alliance.
